Bama Performance sets world record for the fastest NA 2015 Ford Mustang GT
Bama Performance loaded up a 2015 Mustang GT with their 93 octane track tune and set a world record in the quarter mile
Bama Performance has broken the existing world record and created a new one for the fastest Naturally Aspirated 2015 Mustang GT. Still using the factory half-shafts and IRS bushings, this 2015 was only modified with a full exhaust system, intake, minor suspension work, weight reduction, slicks and skinnies, and a Bama 93 Track tune. With only those handful of modifications and Bama Performance’s 93 Track Tune, they went 11.2 @ 121 MPH in the quarter mile at MIR Raceway.
The previous record for the fastest NA 2015 Mustang was held by Ford Racing with their time of 11.77; the Bama Team beat this by over half-a-second. This was the first run Bama Performance made off the trailer at MIR. Bama has big plans in store for the 2015 Mustang and is only just beginning to tap into the potential of the S550 Mustang.
