Pony Express: Reader Feedback - October 2014
Fastback Fantasy Tour
Take me on another Fastback Fantasy Tour. Loved the article Brad Bowling did on his 13-hour trek through North and South Carolina, visiting some amazing Mustang collections in a Hi-Po Fastback. The piece was something different, and I applaud that.

Tech It Out
Just reading Pony Express in the July '14 issue about the creation of a Tech Directory. I suggest that you enquire around local Mustang clubs for volunteers, perhaps retirees. I would bet there will be many who are happy to help advance the knowledge of our favorite car.
My Two Cents
I had to give my two cents about the 50th Celebration show as a spectator. My friend and I joined the party in Nashville going east. We met really nice people on the ride, made it through the snow, and found our way to the speedway and center.
As a person who has volunteered in the past (as a fireman), I admire the organizers for doing such a fine job. They all deserve our thanks, plus.
My buddy and I had a great time in Charlotte, visiting museums and family.
Daniel Carpenter's was fun, and he must be a great boss. We also saw the "Miracle on the Hudson" plane in the museum at the airport.
When it comes down to it, the most important things are the people you meet and memories you make. Those who volunteered gave us a venue to do just that with few hitches. For that I can't thank them enough.

The Big Six
I was paging through the current issue of Mustang Monthly at my local Barnes and Noble and stumbled across the question at the end of the issue titled "Fitting the Big Six."
It happens that this is an interest of mine. The conversion has been done and is well documented on the FordSix Forum (sponsored by Classic Inlines).
How to install a 300 in a Mustang/Falcon:

Fox-body with Turbo 300:
I am hoping that the user fast3006 posts up some additional information in this thread, a '66 Mustang with a 300 installed.
What causes uneven tire wear besides alignment?
