Walking through the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction this weekend there's automotive eye candy as far as one can see, however the staff of only care about one thing-Ford products! We spotted everything from SN-95 Saleen Mustangs to Fox-era rides. Of course there were several really nice vintage Mustangs crossing the auction block as well. Though we were mainly here to cover the Need for Speed movie Mustang (which crosses the auction block on Saturday, April 12) we stopped dead in our tracks when visiting the Ford booth when we spied this flawless wide body GT500.

The 2014 Shelby GT500 Mustang seen here is a custom creation of the sharp minds at Ice Nine Group ( The GT500 not only got a wide body conversion with a set of Forgiato hoops and custom brakes at all four corners, but Ice Nine pumped up the factory 5.8L all-aluminum engine with a huge 4.3L Whipple supercharger! If the projected power level (aided by a water-meth kit) of just north of 1,000 hp isn't enough to make your eyes pop out of your head just take a second to peruse the interior (just promise not to drool on it).

We hope to capture Ice Nine's amazing drop-top GT500 creation for a future story, but if you're heading to Charlotte, NC, next week for the big 50th Anniversary Mustang bash, be sure to swing by the Ice Nine display and check out this black beauty for yourself. You won't regret it.
