It’s hard to believe that the Ford Mustang is turning 50 years old this April. No better way to celebrate than to have dual celebrations simultaneously on both sides of the country – Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina and Las Vegas Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. The twin festivities in Las Vegas and Charlotte will be held from April 16 – 20, 2014.

A “Kickoff Party” will also be held in between in Norman, Oklahoma hosted by the Oklahoma Mustang Club on from April 9 - 12, 2014. The Mustang Club of America will be arranging Pony Drive cruises to both Speedways from this central location of Norman.

The 50th Mustang Anniversary event guide has been released detailing both the Charlotte and Las Vegas events (link to download). Mustang Midway will be a sea of Mustangs (2,500 spaces available in Charlotte not including overflow parking) and could quite possibly be the all-time largest gathering of our pony car ever. The celebration goes on at both locations with open track time, hot laps, drag racing, road course action, Mustang cruises, Ford Ride & Drive events and much more. This doesn't include any of the evening activities, so check your event guide here for information such as the Welcome Party and Saturday night banquets.

The Manufacturer's Midway and Vendor Village allows participants to purchase apparel, parts, books and almost anything Mustang-related. The Media Center (in Charlotte) and the Neon Garage (Las Vegas) will be open for seminars, speakers, and press conferences.

Don't miss out on this historic event! We'll see you there!
