Tuned Up October 2013 Mystery Ford

I was recently invited to take a look at a car collection near our office (always a great way to spend time on the clock), and while MM&F Editor-At-Large Justin Cesler and I took in all that the collection had to offer, it was one car in particular that we were interested in from an editorial standpoint.

The vehicle in question is going in for a complete restoration and it will be the subject of a new web-only series of articles documenting the process. While the car itself is a pretty cool piece (as were many of the cars in the collection), which you'll be able to read about soon enough, we were shown these somewhat rare components pictured below. The only hint I can give right now is that these are for a Mustang.

The project is being kept top secret right now, but the owner of this car—and these parts in particular—is interested in finding any information about them or vintage photography that our readership may be able to provide. If you want to take a guess at what it is, you can post it up on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/modmustangsandfords. If you have any information and/or photography of said parts, please email me at modified.mustangs@sorc.com and put “Top Secret” in the subject line. Eventually, we'll come clean with the dirty truth, but let's have some fun until then.
