30-Year Owner

Terry Field from Winchester, Virginia, has owned his '65 GT fastback for 32 years. “And I've enjoyed every one of them," Terry says. Poppy Red with red Pony interior and white GT stripes, the Mustang is otherwise well-equipped with the GT Equipment Group's 289 four-barrel engine and front disc brakes, C4 automatic transmission, and Rally-Pac. Terry has added LED taillights and redline tires.

Investment Boss

When Marilyn and Rocco Taddeo responded to an “investment property" classified ad, they were surprised to learn that the “property" was a '70 Boss 302. Rocco, a 30-year Ford technician who owned a Boss 302 in the 1970s, got a push toward the purchase by Marilyn, who loves cars just as much as her husband. In the 10 years since buying the Calypso Coral Boss, the couple has hand-compounded the paint, rebuilt the engine, and detailed the engine compartment. They continue to maintain the car in original condition, right down to the bias-ply Goodyear Polyglas tires on the Magnum 500 wheels.

Anniversary Present

Jim and Kathy Wilson from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, purchased their '05 Mustang as a 25th anniversary wedding gift to each other. “After years of driving four-door sedans and SUVs, it was time to get something different," Jim says. We understand fully. In addition to driving their six-cylinder coupe regularly, the Wilsons have entered it in 16 shows and brought home 12 awards.

Mountain Driver

Denny Wimmer has enjoyed the Mustang hobby since 1969 when his father had a '69 T-5 hardtop in West Germany after his tour of duty in Vietnam. For the past 25 years, Denny has enjoyed a Mustang of his own, a Wimbledon White '68 convertible. Powered by the 200 cubic-inch six-cylinder, the Mustang is maintained as an occasional driver around Denny's Richmond, Virginia, home. “The restoration was completed several years ago by Kenny Fisher Restorations," Denny says. "On nice days, I've driven it on day trips to the Blue Ridge mountains and historic Williamsburg areas."
