15 Our discharge tubing was a (dyno only) conglomeration of polished aluminum and steel, but it did the trick to direct all that wonderful supercharged air from the Novi 2000 to the 351 Cleveland. For long-term use, we would install a blow off valve (Vortech offers an exceptional unit). Once we had the carburetor dialed in (minor jetting required from use on another application), we were rewarded with 674 hp at 6,500 rpm and 579 lb-ft at 5,100 rpm. This impressive power output came at a peak boost of just 8.6 psi.
