Zex kits offer a compact, clean installation. Part of this is because the solenoids and electronics are all housed in a single nitrous management unit. To avoid making too many permanent mods to the Boss, Jesse mounted the NMU to the back of the JLT airbox. The NMU requires only nitrous and fuel connections and three wires to get it up and running. Aside from power and ground, one wire taps into the factory electronic throttle wiring. With this signal, it uses the wide-open-throttle voltage to engage the fun.
