Brandyn Venarde might be a young guy but, he sure has a thing for vintage muscle cars. The Southern Californian took us for a spin in his family’s 1969 Yellow Boss 302 Ford Mustang and tells us that it was his dad Mike (also the subject of a Fierce Ford Friday with a second Boss 302) who got him hooked on all things automotive, especially classic cars. But it was his family’s pair of twin Boss Mustangs that really sealed the deal and drove him into a new found passion.

“The Boss 302 turned me on to liking Fords and it gave me the love for old muscle cars,” owner Brandyn said. "My first experience with the Boss Mustang was driving it to a car show, maybe two years ago or three years ago,” Venarde said. Power for his ride comes thanks to a Boss 302 engine, but like his father’s car it’s not the original numbers-matching engine for the car— rather, it’s a service replacement and is all stock. This Mustang also features the deluxe interior with all new seats and that makes for a smooth ride. Brandyn says that one of this favorite things to do is to drive his and his dad’s Mustangs side by side.

His love of the Boss 302 is truly inherited from his dad Mike and, it’s nice to see the Venarde’s are keeping it “all in the family.”
