Every week we share with you a proud female Mustang owner and this week we would like you to meet Rocker Roller Derby Mom, Corina Williamson, aka “Stangerella.”

Corina started her Mustang story at a young age. She tells us, "I've always loved cars and I've been a Ford girl since I was little. I spent the ’70s at my family's body shop in Watford (Ontario Canada) and fell in love with Mustangs early on. I absolutely love the look and the sound of a cammed Mustang—always gives me goosebumps. The louder the better!”

“I was lucky enough to drive my dad's 1981 hatchback with a 302 to high school. I loved racing that thing! I bought my first Mustang in 1994 even though I got chastised for it because I had three small children at the time. Sally was an ‘86 GT Cobra. I loved her and miss her to this day. Since then I've had two more Foxes, an ‘87 and an ‘88 GT I had for years and named Cors88. At the moment I have a 1995 six-cylinder that I'm using for a winter beater after she tried to kill me three times before I had all her brake lines replaced last year. My newest girl is a sexy black 2005 4.0. Her name is Nyx. I love working on my own cars and I've got a few goodies for her including some side louvers, a GT grill, new taillights, and a GT exhaust I got from a friend. I'm thinking of a few power-adding mods but that will come as I can afford parts.”

Corina continued, “My son owns a mint 1980 hatchback. At least one of my four kids is a Mustang lover like his mom! I also think of fellow Mustang owners as family and I love meeting for coffee and cruising with the many clubs I belong to. I have my own tiny club called Lambton County Mustang Club. I am one of the administrators on a 500+ strong 519Mustangs on Facebook and I have been a member of SWO Mustangs for years. I also belong to a few StangGirlClubs, MAC and many more. I love all things Mustang. I have signs, shirts, pants, hats, posters, pillows, die casts, clocks, the list is endless...I even have two Mustang tattoos. I am also a jammer on my Roller Derby team. The name on my Backlash Betties jersey is Stangerella, and they call me Stang. Look for me on Instagram, YouTube and Twitter @momlovesmetal."
