A lover of all things with wheels and an engine, McKenzie Bergerud has always had a special place in her heart for Mustangs. She tells us, "I was raised in a muscle car family. My dad had a barn full of classic cars from Mustangs, Camaros, and Chevelles to 1930s Chevy coupes and Ford trucks. I spent most of my childhood in the shop working on some kind of car with him, most of the time swapping engines into cars they weren't meant to go in. I love spending my time tearing apart cars to make them bigger and faster. I knew at a young age cars were what my life was going to be about.”

“Even though there were more Camaros and Corvettes in the barn than there were Mustangs, my love for the Mustang was always a litter greater than that of the Chevys. My first Mustang was a 1999 GT 5 speed that I drove every day, even in winter. The amount of street racing and burnouts that car saw was a bit ridiculous, but I definitely loved that car,” she continued.

McKenzie’s favorite generation of Mustangs are the first and second generations. She said, “There's just something so perfect about those cars that even the first generation Camaros couldn't beat!”
