Bianca Hinojos didn’t have to wait long to get her first Mustang. As soon as she turned 16, she bought a 1995 Mustang GT with a salvage title at a car auction, then with the help of her dad, brother, and the man who would become her husband, she spent “day and night” fixing it up. Her full-time job at Wendy’s gave her the money to buy the parts to build the Mustang of her dreams. Ten years and a new career beginning, she had enough money to sell the ’95 and buy her 2008 GT.

Bianca said, “Again, I worked hard to get it how I wanted it, performance and looks. I installed a Magnuson supercharger, MBRP axle-back exhaust, Pro 5.0 short-throw shifter, and a few cosmetic upgrades. It’s still a project; I have more plans for it in the near future.”

Bianca has loved Mustangs since she was a little girl, saying, “I was always attracted to Mustangs. My goal was to buy one, once I came of age. As soon as I did and got in the driver’s seat for the first time, I felt a sense of freedom and calm. My car is like my personal therapist—I jump in it and forget about everything. It’s just me and my Mustang.”

Bianca wanted to thank her husband, Hugo Hinojos, “for always accepting my relationship with my Mustangs.” You can also check out her and the car on her Instagram page at bonkers12 and Facebook, at Bianca Lozano-Hinojos.
