The custom grille on Carlos' streamlined coupe is a fine mesh-much finer than the original-style honeycomb. While the customary "corral" fixture has been eliminated, the running horse, from a later-model Mustang, remains. The overall effect is custom and clean.

In the quest to clean up the car, the stock door handles were tossed in favor of a handle assembly that fits almost flush with the surface of the door. These compact door handles came off a Mazda Miata.

These interior door-trim panels are custom affairs made of black leather and adorned with pulls from Billet Specialties and Lokar door-release handles. The switches for the Electric-Life power windows are where the cranks once were.
