1993 Ford Mustang GT
For Jim Hirsch of Plano, Texas, his love for Mustangs was put on hold when four children became his priority. Then his oldest son entered the Mustang hobby with a '91 coupe. Envious of his son's new Stang, he purchased a '93 Mustang GT. A family rivalry keeps the heat going, and Jim has modified his Stang with Trick Flow Specialties heads, typhoon intake, Koni shocks and struts, a five-lug conversion to accommodate a full-set of Weld Racing wheels, and a Bassani X-style mid-pipe flowing into Mac mufflers. We like the continuing rivalry as both Jim and his son fight for who has the better Ford!

Struck by Lightning
Marc Ronzo is the proud owner of this '00 Bright Red Lightning. The 5.4L features an upgraded Accufab single-blade throttle body, K&N air filter, and a Bassani after-cat exhaust system. Marc tells us he has surprised quite a few people lined up at the traffic lights. Though it's still on the stock tune, Marc told us he likes having a truck that can keep up with some of the smaller and faster cars, but also has the room to throw anything he sees fit in the back of the bed. There's no doubt, he has the best of both worlds.
2006 Ford Mustang Saleen Extreme
Currently serving in the army, Matthew Hurt has built one sleek ride. After purchasing an '03 GT in 2005, followed by an '06 GT, Matthew grew bored of both very quickly. Searching AutoTrader, he came across his current '06 Saleen Extreme. Matthew beefed up his factory-supercharged Stang with a cold-air-intake, AFCO heat exchanger, and complete Racecraft suspension. Adding to the already-stellar exterior, he also installed a carbon-fiber front splitter and diffuser, as well as carbon-fiber quarter-window delete plates. We think he's done a great job with the little touches to his Stang.
1967 Ford Mustang
Bound by Love
Ron Heal of Hale, Michigan, sent us pictures of his wife's restored '67 Mustang. After marrying Kristie in 2000, the Stang sat in the back of the garage for the next 10 years. In the winter of 2011, Ron set forth to bring the Pony back to life and began by dismantling the car. Wanting to make sure it was done right, Ron replaced everything with new parts. He added a five-bolt suspension, front and rear disc brakes, custom subframe connectors, and 17-inch wheels. The motor is a 302 bored 0.030 over, mated with an aftermarket camshaft, and Dart Iron-Eagle heads. The exterior was refinished with new black paint. After only five months of work, Kristie's Stang is looking better than ever!
