The same OE look was the focus of the interior as well. You can smell the cream and black leather hides from 10 feet away, but there are no high back racing seats or even modern Mustang seats, just a Glide Engineering low-back bucket covered to look like a stock Mustang seat with some subtle trimmings like perforated leather and Pony-style door panels with custom inserts. An ididit tilt column, painted to look stock, and a JME gauge panel full of Auto Meter instruments get your attention when seated. Take note that the gauges aren't white face, or some fancy LED-lighted modern-looking setup, but the traditional black face with chrome bezel for that definitive classic taste inside to match the outside.

At the end of the day, the Hanger SB-commissioned '66 Mustang convertible built by Sal Perez's American Muscle Cars really shows just how versatile the classic Mustang can be. From corner carver to straight line drag racer, and from concours trailer queen to daily driver, there's a Mustang out there for everyone, in every budget. This convertible is certainly proof of that concept.
