Future Vision
Derick's ultimate goal for this car is to join the eight-second club in quarter-mile competition. Plans for a bigger blower are already on the board. His target of about 700 RWHP may need re-evaluation to handle the chore, at least without some serious weight removal. As well, there's a cage in the future for this Pony, of course, as our man Derick is one to keep a cool head. Even without heading out to the track, this car is still getting the attention it needs. Since we last saw the car, he's already added a cowl hood and a nitrous purge system.

This Steeda Mustang has come a long way from its original configuration - equipped only with lowering springs, Steeda wheels and a set of underdrive pulleys - to an 11-second performer and the story is far from over. Setting goals and then achieving them is something that this Mustang owner has gotten used to. Raising the bar is what comes out of Derick Fellrath's driving ambition.
