The twin Turbo Start batteries are situated at each rear corner of the vehicle to optimize the weight distribution for traction purposes. No jumper-cable-style alligator clips here; installing a permanent battery hookup plug offers easy and safe recharges since these cars do not have alternators. The water tank and fuel cell start out as your basic RCI fuel cells and are customized to fit the SFI 25.5 chassis. Water for the intercooler and the fuel cell are pressurized by big Weldon pumps and filter/regulator combos. The Weldon fuel pump is fully relay-engaged to minimize the voltage spikes while adding the sufficient fuel pressures needed to feed the 160-lb/hr injectors.

The Racepak digital dash is part of the vital datalogging, as it offers the driver a choice of information to display during the burnout or on a run, and the tuners can view completely different data for warm-up, systems check, or dyno tuning. Eric and his right-hand man, Matt Johnson, use the ACCEL Gen 7 DFI electronic engine-management system to handle all the fuel and timing maps. They have had a great amount of success with it, thanks to some counsel from Job Spetter of Turbo People.
