The Cervini's ground effects package, along with well-chosen paint andgraphics, go a long way in making the Focus a potent Boulevardattention-grabber. The base paint is the factory Focus silver, whereasCervini's used Electric Blue for the flames and hand-brushed orangeaccents. To further enhance the Focus' exterior, Cervini's chose KazeraKZ-S wheels wrapped in Yokohama 275/38-18s. Inside the Kazera wheelsreside Baer brakes to supply more than enough braking power.

Focus Fact: Kazera (www.kazera.com), the wheelmanufacturer chosen by Cervini's also makes springs and brake rotors forthe sport compact market. Kazera components can be ordered from The TireRack.

Makeover shows are all the rage on TV these days. Want your house remadeinto a mansion? There are shows just for that. Got an old heap out backbecoming one with the earth? There are several big-name shows dedicatedto exactly that. Want to look like your favorite Hollywood star? Yes, asscary as that sounds, there's even a show dedicated to making you looklike Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Nick Lachey, or Britney Spears.

If you have the desire to make your Ford Focus into a boulevard star,Cervini's Auto Designs can make over your favorite sport compact carwith a plethora of body components.

In the automotive aftermarket, when you think of fiberglass hoods, wings, and ground-effects packages, you probably think of Cervini's AutoDesigns. The business started with a Mach 1-style hood for Fox Mustangs, and nowadays Cervini's has grown from that hood design to a completeperformance and ground-effects package for '05-'06 Mustangs; not tomention body components for other Fords and several automotive marques.

When we photographed the car, the engine was stone stock. The little2.3L Duratec benefited from a custom Flowmaster exhaust and Cervini'srear tips, which proved quite an addition to the sound department.

Though Cervini's has played in the Focus market before, the Focus yousee here is its latest foray into Ford's sport-compact offering. It'ssafe to say Ford didn't have this in mind when it introduced the Focus, but it shows the talents of Cervini's Auto Designs to take somethingfrom rendering to reality and make it available to the rabid Focusenthusiast. The results take a regular Ford Focus and make it over intosomething capable of turning the heads of even the most-seasonedgearhead.

Starting with a cutting-edge ground-effects package, this package($1,999) includes Cervini's Mach 5 hood, new front and rear bumpercovers, side skirts, fender vents, and both the top and wrap-aroundwings. This ground-effects package is also featured in the video gameForza Motorsport, available for XBox 360. Cervini's painted the bodycomponents in house, but any competent body or custom shop can prep andpaint them prior to installation. Of course, Cervini's also addedperformance wheels and brakes, and the neck-snapping paint scheme tocomplete the package, but we're sure you'll do accordingly as well. Thescreens you see for the front and rear bumper covers are soldseparately, as are the PIAA foglights and exhaust tips featured on thecar. Both are available from Cervini's so you can add them to your Focuswhen you choose to take it to the next level.

Unlike the reality shows, you don't have to send in an application tomake over your Focus. You don't have to have a sob story or be down onyour luck with a piece-of-crap car. All you need is the desire to takeyour Focus from ordinary to spectacular in one fell swoop; some greenwouldn't hurt, either.
