Under the hood of Shane's GT is a 90K-mile Lincoln Mark VIII short-block with Windsor Two-Valve heads featuring Erson reground camshafts from SD Wheeler. The heads also boast ModMax performance valvesprings for higher-than-stock capabilities. An Accufab 70mm throttle body and an upper plenum attach to a stock plastic intake once the stock mass air meter reads incoming air via a K&N filter. With 11:1 compression on tap, and with MV Performance's Tim Matherly working the Chipmaster Revolution software, Shane's GT made 260 rear-wheel horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque on MV's Mustang dynamometer. Even though Shane's GT doesn't see street duty anymore, it still has a Performance Automatic 4R70W in the tunnel with a manual valvebody and a 4,900-stall converter for quick launches and hard shifts. Shane's best performance to date is an 11.77 at 113 mph with a 1.56 short time.
