Back in episode three, we showed Brenspeed’s High-Mile Coyote, a 2011 Mustang GT with 160K plus miles, getting a drivetrain, suspension, along with a wheel and tire upgrade. This time around, we checked in with Brenspeed at the NMRA Spring Break Shootout in Bradenton, Florida, where Brent White was behind the wheel and gave us the details on their first outing.

The initial hit produced 11.58 at 119 mph with a 2,500 rpm launch and a 1.62 short-time. To back it up, Brent bumped up the launch to 3,800 rpm, only to spin the tires, but he still managed to run a tickle quicker with an 11.55. The quickest pass of the weekend came with good air (somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,200 feet DA); Brent dropped the launch down to 2,700 and was rewarded with a 1.54 60-foot and lit up the board with a 11.305 at 120.51 mph.

Since then, the Brenspeed crew was able to go as quick 11.183 at 120.87 mph – but what’s next for High-Mile Coyote? How about a healthy shot of nitrous! Stay tuned for those results here at www.mustang-360.com and at Brenspeed TV.
