Nick Cordona has taken his 2013 Boss 302 (No. 3506) to another level. His initial plan was simply to upgrade the exhaust. First modifications included an Exedy clutch and flywheel, a Ford Racing stainless steel clutch line, an MGW race-spec shifter, a Dynotech aluminum driveshaft, Kooks long-tube headers and catted H-pipe, Corsa Sport axle-backs with quad tips, and a JLT CAI. Soon it was on the dyno at Brenspeed making 420 rwhp. Not wanting to stray too far from its appearance, Nick changed the front grilles to black powdercoated billets, added Roush side splitters, changed over to a GT500 rear spoiler, and tinted the windows, side markers, and third brake light. Up next was Ford Racing lowering springs and adjustable Panhard bar. Nick drove three hours to pick up a set of black 20-inch Carroll Shelby CS56 2.0 wheels. He added a set of cross-drilled/slotted rotors. To add even more power, Nick added an intercooled Stage 2 ProCharger P-1SC kit in black along with a VMP Fuel Pump Voltage Booster and ID 1000 injectors. Those upgrades cranked his Boss up to 641 rwhp on almost 7 psi of boost with 91-octane fuel. Future plans include more boost and suspension upgrades.
