Peter Vanderburgh, out of Santa Rosa Valley, CA searched tirelessly for the perfect Mustang. While searching for a 1965 or 1967 fastback, he kept finding either Shelby clones or cars that were too far over the restomod line, until he came across this pristine 1967 Shelby G.T. 350 in Hemmings Motor News and couldn’t let it go. While practically any Mustang Shelby touched is significant, this particular car is one of the last built at the Los Angeles plant. There were four or five owners prior to Mr. Vanderburgh, including one of the stars of the television show Pawn Stars.

At a local car show in Ojai, CA in March, 2016, we spotted a stunning bright orange Chevy Nomad. We were struck by its impeccable condition and struck up a conversation with Mr. Vanderburgh, and it was then that we learned that he also had this perfect G.T. 350 tucked away in his garage at home. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see it in person and learn more about its history, and present this video to provide the whole story.
