2006 Ford Mustang GT Goes From Stock to Crazily Modified
Victor Kinsey • Garland, TX • 2006 GT
Victor Kinsey from Garland, Texas, bought this 2006 GT new back in September of 2006. After serving daily driver duties, the car had racked up 85K miles when he decided to buy a beater car and start giving the Mustang the attention it deserves. After retiring the car from everyday use, Victor added custom painted stripes on the hood and fenders, Eibach Sport springs, Tokico Spec-D struts and shocks, Steeda rear upper and lower control arms, Ford Racing 3.55 gears, an Eaton Truetrac differential, Strange alloy axles, an Axle Exchange aluminum driveshaft with upgraded U-joints, a Cobra Jet hydraulic throwout bearing and stainless line, a GT500 radiator and cooling fans, and an ACT clutch. Giving this Three-Valve some extra oomph is a Roush 565R supercharger kit with intercooler and Brenspeed Detroit Thumper blower cams. The car makes 499.95 rwhp on a 103-degree Texas day. Victor wants to thank Michael at Grubbs Performance in Garland, Texas, and also Cliff and George at Brenspeed in Cedar Hill, Texas.
