Corn-Fed 2004 Ford Mustang Terminator Conquers True Street Class
Jeff Smith • Orlando, FL • 2004 Cobra
Jeff Smith of Orlando, Florida, has put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into his corn-fed Competition Orange 2004 Terminator, which he calls The Pumpkin. Jeff runs his VMP-supercharged Cobra in our very own NMRA True Street class (and any other stick-shift class), earning a personal best of 10.42 seconds at 133 mph in the quarter-mile. Aside from the blower, this Cobra features Weld Racing wheels, full Bassani exhaust, an Aeromotive fuel system, Metco pulleys, CPR Racing lines and fittings, and parts from Maximum Motorsports, including the roll bar and complete tubular suspension. Jeff also installed an IRS bushing kit, Driveshaft Shop Level 5 axles, various Stiffler’s components, a McLeod RXT twin clutch setup, and a Tremec Magnum transmission. Astro Performance keeps Jeff’s transmission going strong, VMP Tuning’s own Justin Starkey tuned the car, and Jonathan Pavia got this bad boy running on E85.
