Nick McDaniel • Moss Point, MS • 2003 Mach 1

Nick McDaniel wanted to build a New Edge Mustang with a Coyote ever since it debuted for 2011. In 2013, he purchased a 2003 Mach 1 with 26,000 original miles from a seller 16 miles away in South Carolina. Once home, Nick unloaded it from the trailer, only to learn he had a broken piston ring. That’s the push Nick needed to go Coyote. Nick’s Mach has the Aluminator Coyote with a built 4R70W transmission with a manual valve body with overdrive and a trans brake, a 4C Circle D converter, and a driveshaft safety loop built with 31-spline axles. Other goodies include a TSS oil pump and gears, Kooks long tubes, a JLT CAI, 47-lb/hr injectors, a JMS Chip custom tune, a Sumped stock tank with a Magnafuel 750 external pump, an Aeromotive return-style regulator, a UPR K-member with tubular A-arms, front coilovers, Bilstein shocks, Moroso rear springs, full-length subframe connectors, power brakes, and A/C. Gracing the exterior are Weld RTS wheels wrapped with Mickey Thompson Pros for the track.
