Blue PearlJohn Mathews • Lexington, TN • ’95 Mustang GT
John Mathews is the proud owner of this Sapphire Blue ’95 Mustang GT. Modifications have been kept to a minimum, but include anthracite Bullitt wheels, KYB gas shocks, K&N air filter, and a 3.73 gear set. The factory AODE transmission has been replaced with a T-5 five-speed. John tells us he only drives his Stang on sunny days and to an occasional car show.
Flame ProofLuc Chevalier • Montreal, QC • ’05 Mustang GT
Luc Chevalier has built an eye-catching ’05 Mustang GT. He didn’t want it to look like every other S-197, so he had the exterior custom-painted and added a Steeda hood; Roush front bumper, aftermarket side skirts and rear bumper; and Vossen CV7 wheels. Underneath the hood, it features a V-3 supercharger, ported heads, Comp cams, and water/methanol injection. Luc’s ride has gone a best of 10.95 in the quarter-mile. Keep up the good work, Luc.
Hell StangTony Salinas • Donna, TX • ’13 Mustang GT
This Hellion-turbo-powered ’13 Mustang GT belongs to Tony Salinas of Donna, Texas. Tony has upgraded his Stang for more power with a Boss 302 intake manifold, Ny-Trex nitrous system, MSD fuel-pump, Precision 44mm wastegate, and a custom tune from Murillo Motorsports. The suspension has been reworked thanks to BMR’s lower control arms and Panhard bar, SR lowering springs, and Eibach caster/camber plates. On a conservative tune, Tony’s Stang laid down an impressive 603 rwhp and 587 lb-ft of torque.
Snake HandlerChris Pouliot • Savannah, GA • ’99 Cobra
As soon as Chris Pouliot turned 18 years old, he was on the hunt for his first Stang. He looked at several Mustang GTs, but none suited his wants. When he came across the ’99 Cobra you see here, he knew it was the one. Chris has upgraded his Snake with a built T-45 transmission, JLT CAI, 4.30 gears, and a Bassani X-style mid-pipe. It cranked out 305 rwhp on a Mustang dyno. Chris tells us he plans to install long-tube headers next. Great work, Chris.
