Summer Project

Richland, Missouri's Tyler Roam is a Showcase veteran. His '97 Cobra landed on these pages a few years ago. He still has the Cobra, but he purchased this '93 GT convertible in the summer of 2012, and he's been returning it to its former glory ever since. The first thing he did to the GT upon purchase was add Ford Racing 3.73 gears with new rearend bearings. When Tyler bought the Fox, its only mods were Flowmasters, a Monster tach, and a strut-tower brace. Aside from the gears, Tyler put the majority of his effort into the GT's exterior. As you can see, he's added smoked headlights, smoked taillights, a cowl hood, a rear spoiler, Cobra R wheels, tinted windows, a new black top, and new two-tone paint. "This has been a fun project, and as with all projects, it is still ongoing," Tyler says.

Childhood Fun

Dale Cutler from Moricetown, British Columbia, Canada, has been a Mustang guy since childhood. This '12 Mustang V-6 is what he uses to have fun, and it sounds like he does exactly that. Dale lowered the car and added Boss 338 20-inch wheels, a cold-air intake, a custom tune, a Pypes Performance exhaust, a Boss shifter, and more. "She can lay some rubber, no problem," Dale says. He also tells us he might be upgrading to a 2015 when they come out. Until then, he'll enjoy this car every chance he gets.

Cali Special

Ryan Minn from Palm Coast, Florida, also enjoys his Mustang. Ryan's is an '11 Mustang GT/California Special in Performance White with a 6R80 automatic. The GT/CS has an SCT tune, a Ford Racing Performance Parts GT500 axle-back exhaust, a J&M adjustable Panhard rod, and just in case, a hard-wired radar detector. The GT/CS also wears a 3M clear bra, custom hood graphics, and a side-stripe delete. By the time you read this, Ryan hopes to have added a full suspension upgrade to the car. "I enjoy attending car shows, cruise nights, and going to the dragstrip with my car club, East Coast Modern Muscle," Ryan adds.
