Hi, Nicole

Everyone say hello to Nicole, Kris Warwick's '11 GT. Right after he purchased the car, the engine decided to lean out cylinder #8. Of course, Ford wouldn't repair the engine due to the custom tune, so he took matters into his own hands by adding a Ford Racing Aluminator crate engine with a Boss intake, Kooks 17⁄8-inch long-tube headers, a Steeda Autosports cold-air intake, and a new custom tune from VMP Tuning. To help harness the newfound power, Nicole features Ford Racing springs and suspension goodies from BMR Suspension, Whiteline, and Steeda Autosports. The Getrag six-speed–equipped GT also features a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. In naturally aspirated form, the car has run a best of 12.19 at 117 mph. By the time you read this, Nicole might be wearing a Vortech supercharger and guzzling E85. Kris will be looking for a 10.50s in street trim once Nicole is "done."


Original Gangsta

It seems Justin Minnick knows he has a gem on his hands with his '85 Mercury Capri GS 5.0-liter. Justin's dad bought the car in 1999 with just 60,000 miles on it, and its only mods are a Ford Racing Performance Parts E303 cam, short-tube headers, and underdrive pulleys. The Capri still wears its original paint and interior, a testament to the care Justin and his family have given the car. The Capri stays covered up in the garage when not attending local and not-so-local shows throughout the year. "I have all the documentation on the car, including the build sheet and the window sticker," Justin said. He has collected a ton of information on Capris, as well, to really understand the car's rarity.


Weeki Mustang

Jimmy Turiello from Weeki Wachee, Florida, is back in the Mustang game with this '13 Mustang GT. The thing we like most about the car is the Azure Blue stripes, which Jimmy designed himself. He has also added quarter-window louvers, tinted windows, and a custom shift knob. "Everyone loves the colors," Jimmy said. "The power of my Mustang is just pure madness—there's nothing else like riding in the '13 Mustang GT," he adds. We couldn't agree more.
