Attention Grabber

Attacking sharp turns and twisted roads are the norm for Joel Route and his Grabber Orange ’07 GT. Joel’s Stang features a Kenne Bell 2.6L supercharger, Borla exhaust, Snow Performance water/meth injection, Eibach sway bars, Baer 14-inch rotors, and American Racing rims. Joel tells us his Stang cranked out 525 rwhp on the dyno, and his future plans are to add adjustable shocks and struts before he competes in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Mike Edgar • Belpre, OH • ’95 Mustang GT Straight Shot

This Laser Red ’95 Mustang GT belongs to Mike Edgar of Belpre, Ohio. His Stang has gone a best of 12.17 at 116 mph naturally aspirated. After blowing up the stock motor a year ago, he installed a 351 Windsor, bored and stroked to 420 ci. He has also installed an FTI custom cam, Kooks long-tube headers, a QA1 tubular K-member, AEM ECU, and a LQ9 coil-pack conversion. Mike built and tuned his own ride, and tells us he plans to install a single-turbo powerplant in the near future.

Robert Falcone • Rome, NY • ’87 Mustang GT

Robert Falcone fell in love at first sight. After a two-year wait to purchase this ’87 GT from a friend, Robert finally took the keys. His Stang is powered by a fully forged 306 short-block and AFR 165 Renegade heads. Outside, it sports a Cobra rear bumper, Saleen spoiler, and Euro taillights. The factory T5 transmission is still in use. It connects to an aluminum driveshaft, which is tied to the 8.8-inch rearend fitted with 3.73 gears.

Greg Gray • Austin, TX • ’66 Fastback Mustang Night Hawk

Greg Gray’s’ ’66 fastback is sleek and stylish. The five-speed GT is coated in flat-black urethane paint, and features a ’67 Shelby-style hood and lower valance from Mustangs Plus. Inside, Greg has added 2001 Mustang Bullitt seats and a custom center console to hold a DVD/navigation system. Underneath the hood, a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor sits atop the Edelbrock intake, and 13-inch Cobra disc brakes help slow the mighty Steed to a stop. Keep up the good work, Greg.
