Steppin’ Out SEMA Show 2012
Lots of walking turns up lots of Mustang parts at the 2012 SEMA Show
Anyone who has ever attended the automotive madness known as the SEMA Show has complained about sore feet and a tired back after walking the Las Vegas Convention Center for several days. During last November's smorgasbord of chrome and glistening paint, one of our cohorts in editorial crime, Jim Campisano, actually clamped a pedometer to his belt to determine that he took over 70,000 steps over five days, a total of over 35 miles. No wonder it takes a week or so to recover.
As usual, our strolls through the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers' Association) aisles resulted in plenty of Mustang news, both car builds and parts. You can save your feet by strolling through our coverage on the next several pages.
Talking 'bout Mustang Interiors
The TMI Products booth was mostly about Mustangs with a restomod '68 hardtop for display and plenty of new interior products. The Mustang was outfitted with TMI's new ABS headliner, console, and door panels. Other new products included Pony and Mach 1 Sport R seats, along with the '71 Mach 1 Sport Seat II.
