Mustangs at MOSI
Classic Mustangs of Tampa, Florida, put on a great show at the Museum of Science and Industry
The club held a live, no-reserve auction for a '79 Mustang Indy Pace Car. The car has a 5.0 and a four-speed transmission, and although running, it needs a restoration. Proceeds from the auction were donated to a local charity that provides transportation to women in need.
Thanks to all of the supporters and those who contributed to the door prizes and raffles. Due to their generosity, many of the participants went home with a gift.
The main show sponsors were MOSI and club sponsor Bill Currie Ford of Tampa. A huge thank you to Bill Currie Ford for the financial support and for providing the DJ, PA system, and Currie's easily-recognized courtesy van to serve as a mobile DJ booth, and a huge thank you to MOSI for use of their facility and for giving us such a warm reception. MOSI also donated two complimentary museum tickets to the owners of each car entered in the show.
Classic Mustangs of Tampa made a contribution to MOSI's K+I+D=S Program which provides facility access to those that may not otherwise be able to enjoy the museum.
