In only a few short years, American-Muscle.com has grown from a basement mail-order performance-parts company to a multi-million-dollar, on-line operation. Through all of its growth, added product lines, and expanded staff, AmericanMuscle has not forgotten the customers who made it possible.

The first AmericanMuscle car show and charity event is one of the company's ways to show appreciation to its customers and give back to a great charity-Homes For Our Troops. The show took place on July 19, 2009, at AmericanMuscle's Malvern, Pennsylvania, headquarters, and was open to the first 150 cars-all the available spots were spoken for months prior to the event. Mustang fanatics and AmericanMuscle customers came out in huge numbers to take in the show on a beautiful weekend in July.

Although the cars were the center of attention, there was much more for everyone in attendance. Three raffles were helf over the course of the day, and great prizes were given out from many of the popular aftermarket manufacturers. Along with the raffles, AmericanMuscle had computer stations available for attendees to purchase parts with a car-show discount. Steve Voudouris, one of three owners of AmericanMuscle, even gave a few lucky shoppers the parts they purchased at no charge.

With the AmericanMuscle headquarters serving as the backdrop for the show, members of the media were given guided tours of the massive facility. Owner Chris Francy took us on a tour of the company's state-of-the-art paint facility, where AmericanMuscle's new body parts are treated to color before finding a new home.

The afternoon was capped off with trophies and awards given to car show participants, along with the charity presentation ceremony where the AmericanMuscle staff presented a check to Homes For Our Troops. Andrew Voudouris, co-owner and vice president of AmericanMuscle, took part in the ceremony, and presented Homes For Our Troops with a check for $8,015.

The Garden State Regional Mustang Club (GSRMC) and the AmericanMuscle staff also stepped up to make a donation to this great charity. Staff members donated their salaries for the day, and the GSRMC cut a check for a combined donation of an extra $1,350, bringing the total donation to $9,365.

"The show was huge success," exclaimed Jeff Dusing, public relations manager for AmericanMuscle. "We're definitely looking forward to next year's show. It'll be bigger and better!" And with the success of this year's show, we don't doubt it.
