With the points chases already completed, it was time for no-pressure fun at the final two FFW events of the year. The FFW crew traveled out West to Fontana, California, and Phoenix, Arizona, ridding themselves of the rain that plagued the Ennis, Texas, event.

With warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, there was lots of action on the track and in the pit area. While the heads-up cars were few, the True Street classes were amuck with entries from mild to wild. Add to that the gleaming car-show vehicles, the sizeable crowds, and the vendors in the midway, and there was no reason that any die-hard Blue Oval fan should have missed one or both of these races.

The event in Arizona saw a local Lightning club make its way to the track, spicing things up with a contingent of fast trucks. The bracket racers came out in droves, and the wheelstands and exciting action were nonstop. With the '06 season completed, the FFW crew is already figuring out ways to make things even more exciting for 2007.
