Miami, Florida- NEVER FORGET! Are the words that are going to emblazethe windows of potentially over 100 Ford Mustangs as they cruise fromWest Palm Beach, Florida to the Florida Keys this coming 9/11Anniversary in an effort to raise money and pay tribute to the victim'sfamilies of the September 11th tragedy.

The Caravan will be beginning in Jupiter, Florida with the Palm BeachMustang Club, picking up several other club chapters on the way down,and ending at Holiday Isle in Islamorada who will be hosting a Mustangcar show in support of the event. (Scroll down for more)

Several of South Florida's Mustang Clubs from West Palm Beach, FortLauderdale and Miami are banding together to make this a memorableevent. The caravan is being hosted and coordinated by members ofSouthFloridaStangs.net a local Internet community who consist of over200 local members from all walks of life who all share a passion forthis 40 year old auto, and an even stronger passion for this cause.

Ben Launerts a moderator with SouthFloridaStangs.net says: "Our goal isto pay tribute to the fallen in the most unique way possible, and whatbetter way than a caravan of over a hundred unique versions of America'sfavorite automobile, with all cars proudly waving the American flag".Several Mustangs will even be arranged in a red, white and blue theme.

SouthFloridaStangs.net expects this to be a landmark tribute and hopesto raise a significant amount of money for "The National FallenFirefighters Association", a national charity that supports families ofthe Fallen and even offers College Scholarships for their children.

The club is raising money by accepting donations from members, raffledonations and corporate sponsorships from Moroso Motorsports Park, WayneAkers Ford, Steeda Autosports , Motor Head Tools, Total Mustang Supplyand Prospect Muffler with more to follow.
