Carlisle Ford Nationals 2019: Engine Bay Gallery
We walk the show field and spy some pretty sweet looking engine bays
Day 2 of the 2019 Carlisle Ford Nationals was postcard perfect weather and the venue was at capacity with a record breaking 3,150 Fords on the property. Easily there must have been over 1,000 Mustangs alone within that total by the number of rows we walked checking out the Mustangs from 1965 to 2019. So many in fact we regretfully didn't have a chance to check out any of the rows upon rows of Ford powered wheels like we have in years past. While Mustangs are our focus, we certainly dig all the other Ford products on the field, including Fairlanes, Torinos, Mavericks, and more!
While we have over 1,000 images to sort through when we get back to the desk on Monday, we wanted wrap up our 2nd day on the Carlisle fairgrounds with this great look at some of the Mustang engines we spotted. From detailed to perfection vintage muscle to late-model Mustangs with power adders, custom paint, and hydrographics becoming the norm there. Coyote swaps, EFI conversions, turbos, and more were all spotted (and captured) through our camera lens. So take a look at this gallery for some ideas to get your engine bay into shape and stop back this coming week for more Carlisle Ford Nationals coverage on Mustang-360.com.
