Any time we hit a big Mustang show we tend to focus our lenses on the personalized license plates (some call them vanity tags) of the show cars on display. Why do we do this you might ask? For starters it makes us stop and think what the plate might mean to the owner, although some or fairly obvious, and owning two vehicles with personalized plates ourselves we know how hard it can be to come up with a unique plate for our own use. So the good thing about a photo gallery of personalized plates like this is that it gives everyone ideas for their own personalized plate. As long as the plate is from a different state there’s a good chance it hasn’t been used in your state and you can order it for your own Mustang.

Most states charge a small premium for a personalized license plate, but for the extra 10 or 20 bucks we feel it is worth it. Surprisingly, out of the 400 some-odd show cars at the 2018 Foxtoberfest, only about 25 percent had personalized plates to share with you here in this gallery. So listen up Fox enthusiasts, let’s get those personalized plates ordered and let’s get that percentage up! We’d love to see at least half the show field at Foxtoberfest in 2019 with personalized plates. Are you up to the challenge?
