A while back the minds at Milan Dragway realized they could help keep the streets of Detroit a safer place by bringing grudge racing to their track. Jay Payso saw what was going on and used his considerable talents to start promoting events at the track. His premier grudge event became Motor City Mayhem and it’s in its 5th year now. Payso and Krysti Baxter have brought some of the best cars from around the nation to compete for big money and fame and the show they put on is amazing.

The action started Friday, August 25th when Scotty G. Guadagno won $10,000 during Full Throttle Friday Richard’s Auto Parts 28-inch Extreme Gibtec Pistons Run What You Brung Shootout. Saturday, August 26th J.R. Gray won $15,000 in the Team Z Motorsports $15,000 Free Entry Shootout. J.P. Delisi took the Varsity Ford Street Car Cruise Shootout for the third year in a row taking home $5,000.

There some huge bets on individual races and Stevie Jackson thrilled the crowd when his 2014 903ci Reher-Morrison-powered Big Daddy Grudge Mustang out of the Showtime Racing Camp logged some flight time. The good news was Stevie was not hurt and his incredible car control minimized the damage to Big Daddy.

Looking forward to Motor City Mayhem 6, who knows what Payso Productions and Milan Dragway will have in store for the fans.
