The third day of the Hot Rod Power Tour went from the previous day’s stop at Iowa Speedway in Newton to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa. Thankfully, the 95-degree temperatures and high winds at the Speedway lightened up in Davenport, but just in case there was an air conditioned pavilion with tables, chairs, lots of water and even a live band to entertain the crowd.

Once again the fairgrounds was packed with hot rods, and more Mustangs that showed up for the day. That’s the thing about Power Tour—there’s something for everyone and even if all you care about is Mustangs (duh), there are different examples at each stop. Not every car is a Long Haunler—many locals come just for the day because there’s an enormous car show in town, the biggest show many of these towns have ever experienced.

So once again, check out this gallery of Mustangs and Fords on the road to Davenport and at the fairgrounds. Also make sure to watch Mustang Monthly’s Facebook page for Live videos courtesy of Team Mustang Girls’ (TeamMustangGirls.com) Courtney Barber.
