Twice a year the Charlotte Motor Speedway transforms itself into the mall gearheads dream about, namely the Charlotte AutoFair. Presented by the Hornets Nest Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), the event that has been taking place for over three decades and draws a crowd of 150,000+ and offers something for everyone.

We were lucky enough to score a spot with the Ford Performance booth so we had a front row seat for all the action, which you can see here. The Charlotte Motor Speedway is transformed into a car corral with cars ranging from trailer queens to non-restored rides and everything in between. Many are for sale, and quite honestly, there are some with really good deals to be had.

Along with all the vendors, there is a massive flea market with every part, bolt, rim and do-hickey you can imagine; it's actually where we found our first set of disc brakes for our Mustang six years ago. If you're willing to put in some time and wear a good pair of sneakers, there are diamonds in the rough just waiting for you to discover them and give them a new home.

Mustang Addicts and Carolina Super Stangs were both well represented at the show and made it easy to find the amazing collection of Mustangs all for your viewing pleasure. Check out the gallery and live video from the show and be sure to mark your calendar for the Fall AutoFair, coming up in September 22-25. See you there!
