Traditionally the “big” day for the NMRA car show has always been Sunday. It’s usually standing room only as the NMRA crew parks the show car field in every nook and cranny of the property they can find. This was once again true of the 2017 NMRA Spring Break Shootout event. You can see that photo gallery HERE. Heading down pit road to the car show field Sunday morning we were expecting a smaller show field, and while it was indeed visible that attendance was less than the day before, we were pleasantly surprised that even for a Sunday, the show field was booming. Chalk it up to great weather (mid 70s with a breeze), a better economy, or car owners having cabin fever. Whatever it was, we were happy to see the attendance. One thing we did notice is a seemingly strong increase in vintage and classic Fords on Sunday. There were a few classic Mustangs and a truck or two on Saturday, but Sunday their presence was much more visible; kudos to those that brought out their Ford muscle, trucks, Mustangs, and other cool rides. Peep the Sunday car show photos in our gallery below and maybe we’ll see your ride out there in the NMRA show field this year too!
