When you think of the NMRA your mind immediately thinks of some of the best head’s up Ford drag racing you’ll ever see (ours does anyway). However, the NMRA events are more than that. From very robust bracket and open comp racing to a huge vendor midway full of new products to the swap meet area where you’ll always find a deal with your name on it, there’s plenty to see and do between watching your favorite class of NMRA racing.

What might just be the best kept secret is the NMRA’s car show. The show happens Saturday and Sunday, with a separate show each day. You can come for one day, or a special two day show ticket. Besides the chance at winning a great trophy and hanging with your club friends, the car show entry gets you full access to the complete NMRA experience, including the vendor midway, the racing, and more. It’s a great way to attend the NMRA if you like showing your ride off.

Saturday’s car show field was unbelievable. All the years we’ve attended the Spring Break Shootout event we’ve never seen the show field this big. Cars were parked wherever the car show staff could find room! No joke we saw cars out in a field and thought they were just friends parking together. Nope, more car show cars in a second overflow parking area! We kind of felt for the car show staff, as that’s a lot of cars to park and judge! Take a look at our car show gallery; maybe we captured your ride today. We’ll be back for Sunday’s show and another big gallery to post right here on Mustang-360.com.
