During the Mustang Club of America’s 40th Anniversary celebration at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 2-4, 2016, the Mustangs in attendance were fairly heavily weighed to the late-model side, so we put together this gallery of all the late-model Mustangs we could get in front of our cameras.

The action inside IMS included a big car show on the grass of the infield, a busy vendor midway, including Shelby, Roush, Gateway Classic Mustang, Continental Tire, and more. There was also open track racing on IMS’s road course, corner carving action on the BFGoodrich autocross course, and Saturday morning saw the debut of the new Shelby GTE Mustang in one of the Speedway’s IndyCar garages.

Overall the crowd was huge, the number of cars in attendance was impressive, and ultimately, it was the perfect weekend for Mustang enthusiasts of all ages.
