If there was ever a premier one-day show for all Mustang enthusiasts and fans alike, then AmericanMuscle has that covered. For the eighth year in a row, AmericanMuscle has put on an epic event with a huge turnout, a lot of giveaways, and featured a variety of activities to keep everyone busy.

More importantly, all of the proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is an organization that helps to arrange experiences to children with serious life-threatening health issues. And this year, 18-year-old Austin had his 2005 V6 Mustang completely revamped from a stocker that was a little rough around the edges and transformed into a beautiful ride that anyone would be proud to call their own.

The show began at 11am and ended at 5pm, but in between those hours, there were thousands of Mustangs and even more spectators throughout the day. The car show also had several classes ranging from pre-1979 to special edition models, including every Mustang platform from the Fox-body to the current S550.

Adding to the event, there were celebrity guest appearances with Chip Foose and Vaughn Gittin Jr., who were busy signing autographs for their fans. And for those who wanted to see a bit of action, the SCT Dyno Challenge impressed the crowd with dyno pulls showcasing over 1,300hp to the rear tires. Then there was the burnout contest, where the owners weren’t afraid to let it all hang out by blowing the tires, catching on fire, and billowing smoke in an impressive display of colors. Of course our personal favorite was the VMP Performance exhibition races on the dragstrip, where they were clicking off 10-second passes and showing everyone how to go fast in a four-wheel drive F150 that ran deep in the 12-second range.

If this was an event you weren’t able to make, then be sure to head out there for 2017, because next year promises to be even bigger!
