Whether you’ve seen them live track side, or perhaps a video clip online, when a racer launches his Mustang and the nose starts heading for the sky the crowds go wild. It takes some real power, a well prepped track, sticky tires, and a good suspension setup to see those front wheels in the air. While some launches see just a bit of air under the left front tire, others you can darn near see the whole drivetrain! We’ve even seen some racers carry the front tires out past the 330-foot mark and the crowd loves it! Enjoy this photo gallery of NMRA Spring Break Shootout drag racers doing their best launches during first round of eliminations today!
