It’s Day 4 of HOT ROD Drag Week and this year we’re bringing you all the daily action. HOT ROD Drag Week 2015, presented by Gear Vendors and co-sponsored by Eastwood, brings us to Cordova International Raceway in Cordova, Illinois. With more than 300 cars at the beginning of Drag Week, some have already fallen to the road or track terrors but there is still no shortage of insanely fast cars tearing up the strip to be crowned the Fastest Street Car in America.

If you're new to this event, here's how it works: Drag Week runs five sessions throughout the week. To complete Drag Week, each competitor must log an ET at each session and the event is scored based on the best average of all five ETs. Each of the 15 classes competes against each other with the average ETs. The catch, however, is that the Drag Week tracks are several hundred miles apart and the drivers must drive their drag cars on the street between race tracks, making this a test of both performance and endurance.

This year, to make things even more interesting, there’s a new Sealed Hood class where competitors will put their machines through the grueling miles and hardcore race action without opening their hood throughout the week. Yup, that means they aren’t allowed to check fluids or wrench on their engine at all.

You can watch all the action right here on Mustang-360 with a live feed every day with Brian Lohnes and David Freiburger giving you all the play-by-play commentary. New for 2015 is the hourly rundown analysis of the race action. After the event is over, the Live Feed replay will be broadcast so you’ll never have to miss a moment of Drag Week!
