Day two of Mustang Week started bright and early (and hot!) at Myrtle Beach Raceway, just a few miles from the official meet and greet location of Day 1. Today we’re hanging out at the raceway and taking in the sights and sounds of hundreds of Mustangs enjoying the opportunity of hitting the oval track for hot laps. Meanwhile, in the infield there are vendors offering visitors information on performance upgrades, styling products, and more.

Gateway Mustang, partnering with BFGoodrich, are offering autocross demo rides at the opposite end of the infield from the vendor area. Besides Gateway Mustang staff driving several of the demo Mustangs through the autocross Gary Patterson from Shelby American can be found behind the wheel of the red S197 wide-body in the following images.

Also on the property today is Formula Drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. who is not only signing autographs by the boatload and obliging for hundreds of photos with his fans, but a lucky few are going to be going along with Vaughn in his S550 Mustang RTR Stage 5 concept for his drift demos for the crowd today as well. Don’t worry though, the vendors and Vaughn will be on site during the Friday and Saturday car show/cruise in events as well, so come on out!
