The annual Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance is coming to Seabrook, Texas, just 30 minutes south of Houston, May 2 and 3, 2015. This annual event, held at the Lakewood Yacht Club, features over 200 classic automobiles and over 100 vintage boats. This year the Mustang will be honored as the marque of the concours and Mustang historian Ed Hockaday, former Vice President of the Mustang Club of America (MCA) and current Chairman of the Liaison Committee, will serve as head judge. Hockaday, past owner of a MCA winning Thoroughbred Class 1970 Boss 302, is currently the owner of a rare 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca model.

Tim Hahn, the current MCA vice president, will be assisting Mr. Hockaday with the Mustang selections. Mr. Hahn, who owns a 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca as well, also recently took delivery of one of 1,964 2015 50th Anniversary Edition Mustangs in Wimbledon White.

Billy Cain will exhibit his 1966 Mustang G.T.350, 6S2185, at the 20th Annual Keels &Wheels Concours d’Elegance.

During the two days of the concours there will be plenty for all to see and do. A hospitality tent, complete with a band, will be set up all weekend and hosted by MCA member Billy Cain, president of Fishbone Safety Solutions. Mr. Cain’s 1966 Shelby G.T. 350 will join fellow MCA member Rick Ciemny and his 2012 Boss 302, modified with Mustang Racing Technologies (MRT), on the concours show field.

Since its founding, Keels & Wheels has given back to the community, this year’s concours benefiting Boys & Girls Harbor. Over the years over $1.4 million has been donated to charity. Its location makes Keels & Wheels a top tourist attraction with the NASA Space Center and Kemah Boardwalk just minutes away.
