Here at MM&FF, we pride ourselves on being innovative. Like the MM&FF Spring Break Shootout, held every year at the NMRA season opener, which puts the quickest True Street competitors against each other in a single-elimination shootout. It's events like this that bridge the gap between our readers and us.

We get very excited about the SBS every year and wanted to expand on it. So last winter, Editor Smith thought of offering a ladies-only shootout. The top-placing True Street ladies could come back for an SBS-style elimination competition, and compete for $250 and a 6-foot trophy.

Thus the MM&FF/Royal Purple All-Female Shootout was born. And since True Street was returning to its roots at Norwalk, Ohio, this year, it only made sense to debut the new shootout there. It was a wild success, pitting the top eight ladies face-to-face in heads-up competition. In the end, Donna Million took the victory over Tracy Keller.

So ladies, this is your cue to dust off your helmet, gas up your Stang, and compete next year!
