One special 1968 Shelby GT500 Ford Mustang will be among 75 rare cars lined up and ready to go home with the highest bidder at the Motostalgia Auction d'Elegance. The Shelby GT500 up for bids is powered by a 428 cubic-inch V-8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Only 405 of this particular rare Shelby GT500 were built and it comes with the full Marti report.

The '68 Shelby GT500 will be the only Ford Mustang in this pack of some rare and high-end cars. Besides the Shelby GT500, enthusiasts may be interested in another rare blue oval heading to auction, a yellow 2006 Ford GT.
