We doubt the owner of this... We doubt the owner of this Pantera built it simply to impress onlookers, but it clearly had that effect on a crowd oriented towards standout ponycars. Twin turbos on a midengine 351 Cleveland has to be a rush. West Coast Restorations had... West Coast Restorations had just finished this sweet restomod '67 for owner Bill Farrington several days earlier, and it attracted double-takes all day long. A few of the features include Air Ride Technologies suspension, Baer brakes, Wheel Vintiques rims (17x7 inches up front and 18x9.5 in back), a 408/five-speed, leather interior, and more. Did we mention the gorgeous paint? Looking at other people's... Looking at other people's rides often sets the tone for a future build, and we thought the brace of Webers on this '70 Boss 302 ought to inspire somebody. Jon Enyeart of Pony Carburetors... Jon Enyeart of Pony Carburetors was one of the vendors on hand at this year's show. As usual, John was hands-on, discussing diagnostics over the engine compartments of owners who requested an evaluation. UP Garage had a portable Mustang... UP Garage had a portable Mustang MD250 dyno on site at Sunday's show, for anyone interested in putting their money where their mouth is. Tony Fabiano was one of many brave souls, and he held his breath as his just-finished '65 fastback was put through its paces. The old-school Paxton-blown 289 put down 292 horses and 315 lb-ft of torque-disappointing until you learn that belt slippage was limiting boost to between 2 and 3 psi. With just one Editor's Choice... With just one Editor's Choice award to give, it was a task akin to picking a favorite among your offspring. Though there were many deserving candidates, we ended up honoring John Hicks and his fantastic '57 Fairlane-not surprisingly, a former M&F feature car itself (May '05). The car is gorgeous beyond description, but with space for just one photo, we chose our favorite part: showcasing Gen-7 DFI controlled TWM fuel injection. Gearheads? Sure!
